Keanna is a marketing strategist and expert in events within the entertainment, for-profit, and financial services industries. Her expertise also includes artist development and content creation for new talent. She enjoys traveling and educating her community on financial literacy and the importance of creating generational wealth with the help of Wealth Builders.  Her experience has enabled her to work with celebrities, executives, politicians, and communication brands around the world.

While transitioning into a full-time entrepreneur role in 2018, She started her podcast Thee Reload, where entertainment meets culture, to highlight and capture the stories of creatives, artists, and leaders who are often not spotlighted. In 2016 after completing her master’s program at NYU, she led the marketing and communications department at Quorum Initiative, a for-profit women’s organization, and oversaw the organization’s New York, Washington D.C., and London special events. In the winter of 2015, she spent her free time working as an intern at NBCuniversal and Universal Music Group (UMG).  She worked alongside artists like Jacquees during photoshoots and creating internal marketing presentations on Nicki Minaj and Drake.In 2016, she led the marketing and communications department at Quorum Initiative, a for-profit women’s organization, and oversaw the organization’s New York, Washington D.C., and London events. In the winter of 2015, she spent her free time working as an intern at Universal Music Group (UMG), assisting artists like Jacquees during photoshoots and creating internal marketing presentations on Nicki Minaj and Drake.

In 2011, Keanna became involved in politics and marketing where she implemented strategies to help bring change in local and statewide elections. Her campaign ideas helped elect the first African-American sheriff, Tyrone Lewis, in Jackson, Mississippi. Sheriff Lewis later appointed her as the first black and youngest Victim’s Assistance Coordinator for the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office. There, she focused on fighting for victims’ rights, implementing awareness programs and co-chairing National Night Out. Her initiatives focused on community-building campaigns that promoted police-community partnerships, and other programs like Denim Day, a day in which supporters honor survivors during Sexual Violence Awareness Month by wearing jeans with a purpose.

Keanna Ward is a native of West Point, Mississippi. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Jackson State University and a Master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from New York University. In 2021, she is focus on building her podcast Thee Reload and helping companies like WAU, OneHBCU Fest, and many others grow.
